Safe Environment Program
St. Ignatius Parish and School follow the Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program (SEP) which includes the Protecting God's Children (PGC) Workshops.
The program is designed to help protect the youth, elderly, and vulnerable adults of our parish as they participate in activities within our community.
This process also provides a layer of protection against the possibility of false accusations for those adults who are involved in our many ministries.
Compliance with SEP is required before you can volunteer for activities within the parish and school.
For more information about SEP and PGC you can visit the archdiocesan website here: St Louis Archdiocese. You can view SEP policies and forms.
For more information or with questions, you can contact Sue Hecktor, Child Safety Coordinator for our parish, by phone at 636-932-4805 or E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
The first step for compliance with SEP is to attend a PGC workshop. To view the schedule and/or register for a workshop, click this link --> Virtusonline.
PGC workshops given at St. Ignatius are available here.
After you have completed a workshop OR if you have already attended one, please contact Sue Hecktor to complete compliance.
